It is located in the southeast of Madrid within the district of Vicálvaro. It is bordered to the north by the municipalities of Coslada and San Fernando de Henares, to the south by the R3 toll highway, to the west by El Cañaveral and to the east by the protected area of Cerro de la Herradura, which after the reforestation foreseen in the project will become an urban forest park.

The low level of new construction, only 12%, and the 170 hectares of green areas will help to reduce CO2 emissions and position Los Cerros as a sustainable development that is committed to the environment. The existing green areas will be enhanced, bicycle use will be promoted by incorporating bike lanes on all roads in the district, and pedestrian pathways will be created to promote sustainable mobility

It has direct access to the M-45, incorporating a collector road, access to the M-203 and M-206, with the anticipated future arrival of public transport that will offer easy access to all parts of the city. It also has access to the R3 highway.
